05.03.2009 Tahe Kayaks to acquire Zegul
Tahe Kayaks announced today that it has entered into an agreement to
purchase Swedish kayak and boat manufacturer Zegul AB. Under new ownership
the production of Zegul models will continue, as will the innovative
development of premium brand kayaks. New product development will be focused
on innovation, quality and design.

We are very excited by the opportunity to diversify our technology said
Marek Pohla, production manager of Tahe Kayaks, The addition of Zeguls
rotomolded polyethylene production capability will enhance Tahes
competitive position in the world of kayak manufacturing.

Zegul AB is a rather young kayak and boat manufacturing enterprise. Since
its inception in 2006 the Zegul product portfolio has increased rapidly to
keep pace with growing sales. Zegul quickly became well known in Sweden and
elsewhere in Europe. In 2007 Zegul introduced the first boat in their line
of sea kayaks; which are now selling all over Europe. All Zegul kayaks are
designed by the world renowned Swedish designer, Johan Wirsén.

Tahe Kayaks is one of the largest kayak manufacturers in Northern Europe;
located in Estonia approximately 10 km (8 miles) from Tallinn. Tahe Kayaks
started building kayaks in 1989. Over time both the range and number of
kayaks has increased. Tahe Kayaks' products are marketed primarily in
Scandinavia; but the market has grown each year, and now Estonian kayaks are
known and appreciated in many other countries around the world.
