Greenland

The Tahe Marine Greenland was born when centuries of established kayak culture met up with the creative capabilities of modern technology. This kayak is a direct descendent of the traditional canoe inspired kayaks of Greenland, ancient boats that reached Central Europe as early as the 17th century. Our modern reincarnation uses the same classic low hull with a V-shaped bottom. Although this requires a level of proficiency, at the same time it delivers unmatched speed and performance on both calm waters and in the face of breaking waves. The Greenland’s cockpit space for your feet and steering system was carefully engineered, keeping in mind the characteristics and needs of the human body on long journeys. It is said that ilaga means “friend” in Greenlandic. You have to choose a kayak with the same care as you would choose a friend.

Fitness training kayak

Physical exertion is part of kayaking. It is pleasant to exercise in a boat designed for this purpose. This 520 cm (17’1”) long and 52 cm (20½”) wide well balanced kayak is meant for those not engaged in competitive sports but who still want to use a kayak for training - not to leave it leaning against a wall when the weather is bad.
