Rob Mercer is considered one of Australia's best instructors and has paddled from Tasmania to Cape York Peninsular. Sea Kayak Carolina is proud to feature Tahe Marine at the 2012 East Coast Canoe & Kayak Festival in Charleston, S.C. at the Charleston County Park. Attendees will have an opportunity to demo and purchase every model on site. Master classes by Dubside, Helen Wilson and others are usually scheduled and open to enrollment.

Sea Kayak Carolina is sponsoring and hosting the first Tahe Marine Greenland Demo Day, which will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina. If you paddle with a Greenland paddle or have been intrigued by it, you owe it to yourself to demo these gorgeous traditional sea kayaks. We will have Greenland paddles available to use at the demo, some made by BCU Coach Bill Bremer of Lumpy Paddles.
The demo days will take place August 27th and August 28th at Farrington Point on Lake Jordan in Raleigh, North Carolina. Fern and Don White, American Canoe Association Coastal Kayak Instructors, will be your hosts at the demo. Fern also holds an ACA Traditional Skills Endorsement and will be available to answer your Traditional Skills questions.

This year in cooperation with DSM composite resins Tahe Marine Wind Solo kayak produced with Palapreg ECO resin – the highest content bio based resin in the industry – was presented in the JEC show innovation showcase among other well-known brands. In the innovation showcase area together with Tahe Marine Wind Solo were presented Eurocopter, Audi with it´s RS3 model and Mcclaren.
