Adding a children seat to Lifestyle Solo (PE) as a custom option is now possible. Placing a thermoformed foam seat to the kayak enables also the smallest members of the family to perfectly fit to the boat and enjoy the hobby.

Lifestyle Solo review

Lifestyle Solo is a small kayak with a relatively flat bottom. This boat is for youngsters and small adults up to proximately 155 cm (5 feet). Even though the boat is not long it is still pretty fast and easy to maneuver in the water. Its a stable kayak with a flat bottom – you sit deep in the boat which makes it possible for almost everyone to paddle, even fore those who never have any prior experience.

Now there is a possibility to add children seating to the kayak as the custom option so that also the smallest persons in your family can fit themselves perfectly into the boat.

The cockpit of Lifestyle Solo is a good sized and the little higher front deck protects the paddler from getting wet.

A strong secondary stability can handle a real surf kayak turns and the flat bottom makes a smooth ride in downwind. A fun kayak to catch the beach shore break waves with.

The test kayak was equipped with a rudder, which can be added as a custom option.
Two storage hatches makes it possible to take all equipment for a weekend tour if you use the storage space optimally you can bring enough provisions for a whole week. After capsizing three times, both the front and the back storage hatches were completely dry. Clear adjustment handles make it easy to adjust the rudder pedals, but to adjust the seat you need a screwdriver.
PE material gives not a shinny finish but it’s a perfect choice for a family that are looking for a boat that can handle rough handling and beach landing directly on the sand.

Summary: This is a child and youth boat in first hand, its perfect to pack for a weekend trip, but think about the child’s strength. This boat is a great all around kayak, for a long paddle on the lake or for exciting paddle on the ocean, its up to the child.

Mold in graphics on our PE kayaks

Since regular stickers can occasionally peel off or be easily removed, we have started to use mold in graphics in our rotomoulding process. The new graphics are more durable and resistant to scraches and peeling and will probably last as long as your kayak itself.

- New packaging is made of stronger carton which makes the content more impact resistant.
- New packaging is longer and covers more boat surface which brings the likelihood of the boat getting damaged during transport close to zero.
- New packaging holds its shape and therefore enables to store kayaks packaged safely for longer periods, even in the humid environment.
- The bow and the stern are safely wrapped into the bubble-wrap.

Arctic expedition with Lifestyle 420s

Arctic explorers Timo Palo and Audun Tholfsen were dropped at the geographical North Pole, where they started their epic journey back home. They traveled approximately 1600 kilometers during the 72 days of expedition using our Lifestyle kayaks as sleighs. About 400 kilometers of that was paddling. How Shopatron works

Shopatron helps the traditional retailer extend their current business to fulfill online orders for multiple manufacturers whose products they already stock and sell. With Shopatron, you can effectively sell products online — even if you’ve never had a website or used the Internet. All you need is Internet access, an email account, and your existing store inventory.

This is how it works:

Each Shopatron manufacturer provides an online store on their website.
The manufacturer sets up their product catalog, with available products, and product names, images, descriptions, and prices. The manufacturer chooses fulfillment methods (standard shipping, express shipping, or in-store pickup), shipping and handling rates, and other details for fulfilling orders from their online store.
Consumers place orders on a manufacturer’s website.
Shopatron gathers all the orders for all of their manufacturers and posts them on a secure website. As a Shopatron Fulfillment Partner, you and other Shopatron-authorized retailers are eligible to fill these orders.
Each order is either immediately assigned to a specific fulfillment partner or goes into a request process.
You log into Shopatron and view the orders that you are authorized to fill, for industries and manufacturers you may already serve.
- If orders have been assigned to you, you accept these orders and indicate whether you have the ordered items in stock.
- If you see an order in the Available Orders pool and you have one or more of the ordered products in stock, you can request the order. The Shopatron system awards orders to one of the fulfillment partners who has made a request, based primarily on the fulfillment partner’s available inventory and proximity to the shopper. These orders are almost always assigned to the closest stocking dealer for a particular order. In some cases, however other criteria are also considered.
- After you request an order, you check back later and see what orders have been awarded to you.
When an order is successfully charged, the order is “ready” for you to process.
You process the order. When you finish order processing, you either:
- Place the items at your store’s pickup desk for the shopper.
- Package the order and ship it to the shopper, using trackable shipping methods.
Twice a month, Shopatron reimburses you for the orders you’ve fulfilled.

It’s that easy! Shopatron takes on the major responsibilities as we inform every consumer, via email, of the status of every order every step of the way. We answer consumers’ phone calls and their email questions. We accept responsibility for fraudulent credit card use. We handle the accounting. We provide reporting capabilities to help you track your Shopatron business success.

Sign up to sell with Shopatron

Shopatron is free for fulfillment partners and retailers and does not obligate you in any way. There are three ways you can enroll to sell orders with Shopatron.

A Manufacturer can automatically enroll you for in-store pickup
A manufacturer can invite you to enroll for shipping orders to consumers
You can sign up yourself to ship orders or provide pickup services at: www.shopatron.com/signup.

Once enrolled, you can fulfill orders for the select industries and manufacturers that match your preference.

Getting paid

Shopatron processes payments for all of our fulfillment partners twice per month. Fulfillment payments are transmitted on the 5th and the 20th of every month, or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or holiday. These funds usually appear in your bank account within 1 to 2 days of payment processing.

Statement periods are from the 1st to the 15th (1st period) and from the 16th through the last day of the month (2nd period).

Orders fulfilled during the 1st period are paid out on the 20th.
Orders fulfilled during the 2nd period are paid out on the 5th.

With each sale you accept and fulfill, you receive the full amount paid by the consumer, minus order management fees.

Kajaksidan represented Tahe Marine at the Allt för Sjön boatshow in Stockholm.
We had a lot of fun and recieved positive feedback for our new models.
