What does PE stand for?
PE stands for polyethylene. We use 3-layer polyethylene technology on our PE kayaks.
I have lost my user manual, where can I find a new one?

Do I have to do any sort of maintance on my boat?
General cleaning is the best way to keep your kayak functioning. Especially pay attention to flushing sand and grit away from tracks, foot braces and out of skeg boxes.
Do UV rays or salt water damage my boat?
Not directly. But you should still avoid keeping your kayak (especially PE kayak) in direct sunlight for a longer period. When still doing so, we recommend to remove the hatch covers.
How should I transport my kayak?
A kayak shoud be transported on a special roof-rack or a trailer ment for this purpose. An other option is to use foam kayak cradles on the crossbars of your roof-rack by fastening the kayak with special fastening straps. When doing so you should pay attention, that you do not fasten the kayak too tight. This could damage the kayak. You also shouldn’t drive faster than 50 mph when you have a kayak placed on the roof of your car.
Can I make modifications to my boat?
During the warranty period you are not allowed to do any major modifications on your kayak. Otherwise the the warranty will not be valid anymore.
Can I repair my kayak myself?
During the warranty period you are not allowed to do any major repairs (Gelcoat repairs, structural repairs etc.) on your kayak yourself. Otherwise the the warranty will not be valid anymore. By reclamations or damages we recommend to show the kayak to the dealer by whom it was bought.
Can I buy paddles, spray covers an other accessories from Tahe Marine?
